SRS Metals is a second-generation Australian owned family business located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and the Northwest Coast and Southeast regions of Tasmania. Our team in Melbourne has close to 30 years combined experience in the industry, while between our Burnie and Hobart sites in Tasmania, the team has over 50 years combined experience. Bringing our business back to the core, SRS Metals has a fresh new approach, aiming to simplify the recycling process for our suppliers. SRS Metals have expanded into Tasmania, maintaining the same dedicated staff from our acquisition of ICM (Intercontinental Metals), thus ensuring job security for locals and continuing the great service they provide.

Since our integration of ICM’s seasoned team in Tasmania, we have invested in bigger skip bins, hook lift bins, and a mobile car baler that can be brought to your site to bale cars and metal with ease, before being recycled responsibly. Through continuous expansion and investment in fleet, plant and bins, our operations in both Melbourne and Tasmania are ready and equipped for any of your scrap metal recycling needs.
